Switching from Fergus

Fergus added a CSV download to all its reports in 2024 and has a customer export CSV (name, contact and address, plus pricing columns). A separate sites or assets export isn't documented. Our importer (Settings → Import) accepts generic CSV files of customers, sites and assets, lets you map each column to our fields and shows you what will be created before anything is saved. Or send us the files and we'll do the import free. Download issued certificate PDFs from each job before you cancel.

Our importer recognises the column names most job systems use, and you map anything else by hand in a couple of clicks. Or book a call and we'll do the import for you.

Frequently asked questions

Fergus has just launched AI. Why switch?+

Fergus's AI focuses on business questions, voice updates and admin. Ours is built around certificate work: turning emails into jobs, briefing the engineer before a visit and flagging assets with compliance gaps. Try both on your own jobs.

Will we lose supplier invoice matching?+

Partly. We have purchase orders, supplier price-list imports, timesheets and job costing, but no live merchant integrations. If automatic merchant invoice matching is central to how you work, Fergus is stronger there.

What happens to our certificate history?+

Past certificates stay as PDFs. Import each asset with its next due date and renewal reminders start from day one.
