Worked example, 5 engineers and 2 office staff: Powered Now, assuming every one of the 7 people needs a licence: Professional 7 × £32 = £224/month; Premium (for AI and the portal) 7 × £40 = £280/month. Switching from Powered Now

Powered Now lets you export contacts as a CSV from the Contacts screen (customers, suppliers or both), and financial data separately. It doesn't publish a sites or assets export. Our importer (Settings → Import) accepts generic CSV files of customers, sites and assets, lets you map each column to our fields and shows you what will be created before anything is saved. Or send us the files and we'll do the import free. If you need sites and appliances, add them as extra files or columns and map them on import. Download issued certificates as PDFs before you cancel.

Our importer recognises the column names most job systems use, and you map anything else by hand in a couple of clicks. Or book a call and we'll do the import for you.

Frequently asked questions

I'm an electrician. Should I switch now?+

For EICRs and Minor Works, yes: both are on Amendment 4, with the circuit schedule and C1/C2/C3/FI codes. If you issue a lot of full EICs, Powered Now still covers more.

Do I lose Making Tax Digital?+

We don't file MTD returns. Invoices and payments sync live to Xero, and Xero handles MTD.

Is there an app to download?+

Not from the app stores. Our field app installs from the browser, sits on the home screen and works offline.
